Winter Reading 2026 │ Coming in January 2026!

Bundle Up With Books this January with this fun bingo challenge for all ages!

We invite readers of all ages to join the all-ages Winter Reading Bingo Challenge! Auglaize County Libraries will be kicking off their Winter Reading Challenge while incorporating Beanstack's Bingo board feature. Readers will earn fun badges for logging the minutes they read, completing activities, submitting book reviews, and earning bingo. Readers must submit tickets by January 31 for a chance to win. 

This year, readers will log their reading minutes and activities in Beanstack or on paper to cross off squares on their Bingo board. Try to cross off as many bingo squares as you can by January 31! Each bingo square earns you a chance to enter for the prize drawings. A few examples of this year's prizes are depicted below. 

Any reader who completes a bingo will earn a vinyl sticker of their choice at the library. Any reader who earns a coverall (or covers their entire board) will earn a free food coupon donated by our local McDonald's!

Along with the Reading Challenge, our libraries are also hosting a full lineup of fun events this January and you can find it all on our online calendar. 

To get ready for the Challenge, you can log in or register on the Beanstack app or website. If you have not yet joined Beanstack, it's free and easy to do. With Beanstack, you can easily log your reading, earn badges, and enter for prizes for all your family members right from your computer or mobile device. 

The Winter Reading Challenge will run from January 1-31, 2026. Prize winners will be contacted in February 2026 for when and where to pick up prizes. Prizes must be picked up in person; no prizes will be mailed.
