Make sure you read the Idea Lab Equipment Policy and sign the waiver before planning to use the machines and workspace in the Auglaize Idea Lab. Then, plan to book your equipment. Use the links below to get started.

To help you get the most out of your Auglaize Idea Lab experience, we encourage you to explore our self-guided training resources, available for many of our machines and software programs. These tutorials can help you build confidence and get started on your project. Idea Lab staff are available to answer questions, provide guidance, and assist with troubleshooting as needed.

What is an Idea Lab?
The Auglaize Idea Lab is a makerspace or collaborative space where people come together to learn, create, and explore using shared tools, technology, and equipment.
The Auglaize Idea Lab gives the Auglaize County community access to tools and technology not always available at home. The space supports learning, creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
The machines and technology in this space were largely funded by grants and generous sponsors. Thank you for your support!
The Idea Lab currently houses the following machines and accompanying tools:

Embroidery & Sewing Station

Large Format Printer

Open Lab Hours:
Reservations preferred, but open to walk-ins as well:
Mondays: 12pm-6pm
Wednesdays: 9am-4pm
Thursdays: 9am-6pm
By appointment only:
Fridays: 10am-12pm
