Each month we will talk about a different true crime case. From cold cases, historical serial killers, museum heists, suspicious deaths and robberies. Participants are encouraged to research the case and bring their findings to the group for discussion. Many of the cases have books, documentaries, movies and podcasts about the subject or crime. Fierst will discuss his book, Hidden Disgrace: Revealing the Distress Signals Covered By North American Indian Myths. David Fierst is an attorney living in Dayton, Ohio. Hidden Disgrace, his first book, is the result of a visit to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota in April 2014, after which he grappled with understanding the reasons for the harsh living conditions there.
