Yard Sign Prize Patrol

Have you seen one of these Library Champion yard signs in a neighbor's yard or on Facebook and wondered how to get one for yourself? Find out here!

Arby's of Wapakoneta has sponsored a brand new component to our annual Summer Reading Program in which children who have completed their first reading goal will receive a Library Champion Yard Sign to display at their home.

Over the summer, library staff will go on Prize Patrol in local neighborhood and will randomly ring doorbells and reward homes displaying the signs with prizes for the family. Prizes may include summer toys, giant bouncy balls, local coupons, extra prize tickets, and more!

Children in the Summer Reading Program ages Birth - 4th grade are eligible to receive a sign and metal stand for their family upon finishing their first reading goal (6 or 12 hours, see reading records for more reading goal info). The first child to reach their goal will receive the sign for the family. Limit one sign per household. Signs are first come, first served. Prize patrol will continue until supplies run out. Signs should not be in public right-of-way or on public property. Signs will be colelcted by library staff between July 17-22. Signs can also be returned to the library branch from which you received it. Check with your library to find out more.

We thank Arby's for their wonderful generosity in sponsoring this program. We also applaud our young readers for accomplishing their goals in amazing ways.
